We are seeking our first full-time hire to be based out of our office in Hampton Falls, NH. The job will offer the opportunity to hone ever-valuable sales skills; learn the ropes of being a professional booking agent; and TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY for weeks or potentially months at a time!
We are SolSeed Retreats.
SolSeed Retreats organizes and executes small group, international travel on behalf of fitness professionals and wellness studio owners. In short, we offer fitness professionals a platform from which they can participate in the trillion dollar annual US travel industry. Our customers come from all over the US, and we help them travel all over the world with their community.
As with all start-ups, the job description is nebulous, and can change from day-to-day. The first quality of a good fit for this role, is someone who can adjust to change rapidly. The second quality, is someone who takes ownership of their tasks, and seeks to improve them in all ways possible. Finally, you should be passionate about fitness, travel, and community; and believe in the positive impacts they have on an individual’s well being.
An average week in the office will look like this:
SolSeed’s HQ is in Hampton Falls, NH, it’s an open space where we work, play pool, practice yoga and collect artifacts from our travels. The job will be primarily based out of our office, but working from home will be available as well:
Business Development (45%) – identifying potential clients for SolSeed using Instagram, Google, trade websites and personal connections; contacting them and following up until you schedule an informational call.
Customer Service (10%) – answering frequently asked questions from retreat participants via email and phone, helping them book their travel and feel confident and comfortable in their retreat.
Social Media / Website (15%) – curating posts and stories from our library of media to maintain an engaging social presence on Instagram and Facebook. Bonus if you’re proficient in WordPress and can update our website from time to time and contribute to it’s growing blog!
Booking Agent (20%) – gathering and communicating key information between retreat leaders, attendees, and SolSeed team members using the Google Suite of products. Being organized and detail oriented is a must!
Continuing Education (10%) – being curious, asking questions, learning how to be a top tier professional in this business, and beyond!
And of course… an average week ABROAD!
SolSeed sends a concierge to assist on-site for all their retreats, and you will get the chance to do this incredible job!
Meet & Greet – starting when guests get off the plane, we greet them and coordinate their transportation
Daily check-ins – meeting with the retreat leaders and attendees, answering questions and assisting in scheduling activities
Vendor Relations – maintaining relationships with vendors, ensuring quality in those services, communicating updates and changes
What skills are important?
